New Spring Shows 2013

Wow, I've neglected my blogs for so long that I've forgotten how to post. I had to fumble my way to this post. Hopefully it will post correctly. Anyway, just wanted to get this out there in case anyone still checks this blog. A couple of shows coming up. First is the Big Shanty this coming weekend, 4/20-21. The next one is the following weekend, 4/27-28. It's the Spring Jonquil Festival. Haven't done a show for awhile. Will be nice to dig the tent out and set up. Should be a great weekend for a show. I requested a different spot for the Big Shanty but it's close to my old spot. I'll be in the same spot in Smyrna. Come check out my newest bows. If more info is needed, let me know. :)

March already?

Where has the time gone? I can't believe that my last post here was Christmas. Wanted to post a few show notes to keep my site somewhat current. I just had one this last weekend so if you missed it, I have a couple more coming up fast. The first one is the Big Shanty Festival The 36th Annual Kennesaw/Big Shanty Festival will be held in downtown Kennesaw on April 21 & 122. The festival features over 200 arts and crafts booths, 20 food booths, and 20 general booth spaces, and admission is FREE. The festival attracts over 60,000 people from all around North Georgia. There are two entertainment stages, all types of children's activities, and plenty of festival foods. The Big Shanty Festival will begin with a parade through downtown Kennesaw at 9:30 on Saturday morning, April 21st. The show hours are 10 AM - 6 PM on Saturday and 12 Noon - 5 PM on Sunday. Also make plans to visit the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History home of "The General" famous Civil War locomotive. The Kennesaw/Big Shanty Festival is one of the largest festivals in North Georgia. The next weekend is the Spring Jonquil Festival April 28 & April 29, 2012 Smyrna, GA City of Smyrna's Spring Jonquil Festival Spring. The Jonquil Festivals are located on the beautiful Village Green in downtown Smyrna. The Spring Jonquil Festival will showcase arts and crafts by more than 150 artists/crafters from across the country. The event also offers fun for the entire family to enjoy with continuous entertainment, a children's section, and a wide selection of festival foods. The shows will draw crowds of around 15,000 people. Show hours are 10 AM -6 PM on Saturday and 12 Noon - 5 PM on Sunday. Admission is FREE. Both of these are outdoor shows so look for me and my big white tent.

New Custom Bows

Just pasted this on facebook so if you follow me there, it will be a duplicate. :)
Anyway, here are a few custom bows that I just finished. They can be made just like these or any colors of your choosing.

Most of my korkers are made the same size, approximately 3". They are full like a snowball and cost $8. I will do a pair of them for $15. They can be made a solid color or any number of colors that you choose. This particular one is made with an orange with white dot, apple, turftan, lemonade, and shocking pink.

This next one measures approximately 5" including the spikes. The bow measures about 3". It is made with french pink, black, pistachio, and mystic blue. I can do this one in any colors that you choose. It costs $5.75.

This one measures 4" and is made with maroon, black, rust, shocking pink and light ivory. You can duplicate these colors or choose ones of your own. Cost is $8.75.

This one measures about 5" with the spikes. The blue bow measures about 3". It's colors are orange, turquoise, shocking pink, pistachio, and a bit of yellow. It costs $7.00.

And finally, this one measures 3 1/2 but with the spikes, 5". It is made with orange, brown, lime, cranberry and light ivory. It can be made to order and costs, $6.25.

Email me if you would like me to custom make some bows for you. sales@kathysbows.com
